Please submit! ❤
it’s been a while, but i found someone who will be trying out the role of prose editor (i.e. putting up with me adding the wrong date to everything). her name is kate and her bio is below. we plan on opening submissions from May 15th-July 1st for a late August reading – details subject to change but that’s ballpark. please email or message on fb if you have any questions.
Kate Garklavs lives and works in Portland, OR. Her work has previously appeared in Juked, Two Serious Ladies, Leveler, and Ohio Edit, among other places. She earned her MFA from UMass Amherst and reads poetry for the Portland Review. When she’s not reading or writing, she’s likely trying to expand her taxidermy collection.
Thanks to everyone who came out for submission six! Our prose editor is moving to Brooklyn at the end of the month, so we are on hiatus until the fall. Find out the latest on our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/submissionpdx/.
